I last won the Region 7 Open Title in 2005 having entered it just
once. It was then I won both the Ladies and the Junior Events.
In the last 4 I played Debbie Barthop and won 6-3. I felt quite relaxed
in this match I thought if I could take that form into my next match
I could go on and win my second region title.
In the other Semi Final Lauren Strivens scrapped to win 6-5 against
the experienced Anne Taylor.
In the Final Lauren didn’t play her best and I wasn’t
under pressure at all. The final score was 7-2.
